Something clicked here I don’t know what . it wasn’t the story as it had none whatever it had was the frame by frame copy of Will Smith’s Hitchwhich itself was acopy of choti si baat (if there is an award for the copy cat of the year it has to go to David Dhawan) . what it did have as its own was some corny & funny oneliners & the presence of a great comic actor Govinda who showed he did not lose his touch .


10.AJAA NACHLE - the comeback queen


The tale victory of the underdog over the powerful through the art of dancing & the forgotten theatre clicked for me . it did not have the directorial finesse of Lagaan but the extremely relatable characters penned by the Indian at heart Jaideep Sahini makes it a extremely lovable fare . add to it were the performances by the supremely talented starcast right from Irfan to akshaye ., u have the perfect sweet dish . finally add to the top a madhuri bonanza to make it seemly irresistible . the Laila Majnu climax ( a copy of romeo-juliet climax of ‘Shakespeare in Love) is interesting . I definitely wanted to get up & dance after seeing this movie .
